Our People

Our dedicated private client mediator will guide you through the negotiation and mediation obstacles. We will develop a plan with you to meet your specific needs and circumstances. Most importantly, we will always be there to listen to you and answer your questions. Velocity Mediation engages in collaborative work with other mediators, lawyers, and financial professionals when additional resources are needed.

About Erin Kingston

Ms. Kingston works as a business development executive in the corporate and nonprofit sector. With 25 years of experience, she has created stakeholder value for companies as both a strategic and hands-on business leader. Her work focuses on negotiating business development opportunities with strategic partners, executive leadership, mentoring, and spearheading business teams. As the founder of Velocity Mediation she is passionate about using her skills to give back in the community.

Private Client Mediator | RRM


Erin is a Mediate BC Registered Roster Mediator who has her York University Mediator Certificate in Family Mediation offering the skills and experience you need to confidently mediate conflict and assess the individual, family or business situation. She has completed the training requirements for the Accredited Family Mediator (AccFM) designation with the Ontario Association for Family Mediation. Family Mediation certification is recognized by the Ministry of the Attorney General as qualification to work in the court system. She is also a Chartered Mediator candidate (C. Med) for designation from the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of BC (ADRBC).

Ms. Kingston specializes in recognizing the nature of conflict and using alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes. She has negotiation skills with a focus on the interest-based negotiation model developed by the Harvard Program on Negotiation and Mediation with an emphasis on facilitative mediation. Erin uses communication techniques to successfully lead multi-party mediation, culturally diverse, and a trauma-informed mediation practice. She has years of experience as a poverty law legal advocate, at a private law practice & has worked on BC Human Rights Tribunal matters. She believes in self determination to foster change.
